I was searching ways to make students write simple essays better and this image prompted me to write. it's something xD
Twinky is a ginger tom cat which
lives in a cozy house with its lonely male owner. Having been taken from the
animal shelter, Twinky used to be a very sad cat, but now it is living
luxuriously with its stomach full and heart filled with love.
One day, on a fine breezy evening, Twinky’s owner was not
home yet. Twinky’s stomach was roaring louder than a tiger. It was odd for its owner
to be home late since he worked just a few blocks away. He never skipped coming
home and Twinky began to feel paranoid due to its hunger.
Twinky was then lurking
around the aquarium, eyeing at the bright golden fishes. Its animal instinct
began to disturb its morale. His owner taught him not to ever disturb those
fishes. However, during that specific evening, its hunger had driven it to do
something it would regret forever.
It began to walk around the glass walls, mimicking the
movements of the fishes. It could even feel the fishes were mocking it because of
the protected environment. However, Twinky knew that that would not be long. It
found an easy access to get them!
It crawled up and saw the crystal clear water from the top of
the aquarium. Twinky could not bear the hung er anymore. Twinky must get the
fish. It jumped right into the water and splash! Twinky sank into the aquarium
and it then realised it could not swim! It panicked and quickly hopped out of
the water.
After what had happened, Twinky was then wet and had to wait
its owner in coldness. Twinky felt
ashamed of itself and promised to never break the rules anymore. Not long after
that embarrassing event, Twinky’s owner was home and it was well fed and loved
again. THE END
