WRINKLED/CURLY CHILLI PEPPER PLANTS
i understand how frustrating it is when your very healthy chilli plants suddenly die after looking so healthy. this is actually common. that's why the price of chillies per kilo can peak high!
the above picture is the culprit for your dying chilli plants
the name is, EPHIDIDAE.
they suck sweet juices under the leaf until your plants are going through malnutrition then jump to another healthy plants then do the same.
so these creatures are the ones you need to eliminate.
how?
HERE ARE SOME SOLUTIONS (if the cause is by aphididae)
1. Ladybirds
Ladybirds are your friends. They eat 1000 of aphids daily! so if you see them, that's a sign of a healthier plants in the future.
2. Ants
Ants however, are your biggest enemy. They move the eggs around like a slaves. They also protects the aphids like an army to shoo the ladybirds away. dang! why? so that they can share the sweet juices sucked by the aphids. God knows how it works but the conclusion is, BIG NO for ANTS.
3. Washing
To get rid of the aphids, try washing and scrubbing them away with your hands. Especially for those sticky eggs. It works instantly to heal your plants
4. Antiseptic Spray
Simply put 1 tablespoon of antiseptic into a 2-4 liter of water in a sprayer and spray your plants. This will suffocate the aphids. YAY
5. Dish Washer Liquid Spray
Put 1 spoon for 2 liter of water spray them. Just try which spray water is convenient for you.
6. Garlic + Chilli + Soap + Oil + Water
Just combine all of these with an appropriate amount without burning the leaves.
NOTE:
Aphids are located at the bottom of your leaves(it is where the stomata at).
Spraying and washing are encouraged to be done early in the morning or late in the afternoon to avoid leaves from burning.
7. Always Check for Infections
These aphids are endless. When you are around, they may escape and come back again. Thus, do a routine check especially when it hardly rains so that your leaves will be an inconvenient place for them to breed and feed.
8. Avoid Over Fertilising
The more fertile you plant is, the higher chance that they will come to it. A very fertile plant has darker green leaves. So let it be a little yellowish but still thick and healthy. Balance is the key.
I think that is all it!
if you loath reading, below is a shorter and compact video version you can watch and learn from.

Adios!
