Ingrediients:
- Quail Eggs
- All Pupose Flour 1 cup + 1/2 cup for coating
- 1 cup Water
- Salt
- Black Pepper
- Turmeric for colouring (optional)
- Oil for Frying
How to do it:
- Boil the washed quail eggs for 2-3 minutes
- Turn off the heat and take out the eggs. Then wash the eggs in a cold running water for around 1-2 minutes.
- Put the eggs in a container, close the lid and shake to crack the shells. Continue by adding some water in the container and soak the cracked eggs. This will ease the peeling process
- Prepare the batter by mixing 1 cup of flour with salt, black pepper and turmeric then ad 1 cup of water slowly. In the video below, I only used half cup of flour and half cup of water. It all depends on how much eggs you have to avoid wastes.
- In another bowl, put some flour as the first coat for the egg.
- So just coat the egg with only flour, then put the coated flour in the wet batter
- Prepare the oil and fry the battered eggs until golden and crispy
- Put the cooked eggs on a rack to let the oil sip out and wallah....eat while it's warm!
