Easy Recipe - Fried Quail Eggs

Ingrediients:

  • Quail Eggs
  • All Pupose Flour 1 cup + 1/2 cup for coating
  • 1 cup Water
  • Salt
  • Black Pepper
  • Turmeric for colouring (optional)
  • Oil for Frying

How to do it:

  1. Boil the washed quail eggs for 2-3 minutes
  2. Turn off the heat and take out the eggs. Then wash the eggs in a cold running water for around 1-2 minutes.
  3. Put the eggs in a container, close the lid and shake to crack the shells. Continue by adding some water in the container and soak the cracked eggs. This will ease the peeling process
  4. Prepare the batter by mixing 1 cup of flour with salt, black pepper and turmeric then ad 1 cup of water slowly. In the video below, I only used half cup of flour and half cup of water. It all depends on how much eggs you have to avoid wastes.
  5. In another bowl, put some flour as the first coat for the egg.
  6. So just coat the egg with only flour, then put the coated flour in the wet batter
  7. Prepare the oil and fry the battered eggs until golden and crispy
  8. Put the cooked eggs on a rack to let the oil sip out and wallah....eat while it's warm!
